Yes. MPI Florida offers new-patient appointments within 24 hours of a call or referral, and patients are typically seen within 7–10 days.

No. You can contact the practice directly. If your insurance plan requires a referral for coverage, we will tell you when you call.

Photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and doses, and any recent records or prior psychiatric history you have.

We maintain direct relationships with Medicare, Medicaid, Humana, United Healthcare, Health First Health Plans / AdventHealth, Magellan and additional commercial and government payers. We verify eligibility and benefits electronically before your first visit.

Your records are protected under HIPAA, and substance use disorder records carry the additional federal protections of 42 CFR Part 2. Dr. Khan is the practice's designated HIPAA Privacy Officer.

Yes. MPI Florida provides court-ordered and counsel-instructed forensic evaluations, risk and competency assessments, and expert witness testimony.
